Maintaining Strasbourg’s status as a key EU city
The Conseil Général du Bas-Rhin contributes towards improving transport links and the development of the profile, key assets and infrastructure that have made Strasbourg into the ‘capital of Europe’.
European funding programmes
To help build the European Union’s vision of Europe and to ensure the inhabitants of the Bas-Rhin benefit from EU grants and funding, the Conseil Général du Bas-Rhin is a participant in the 2007-2013 European policy and funding programme.
The Bas-Rhin in Brussels
The Conseil Général du Bas-Rhin is represented in Brussels by the Bureau Alsace, and is also a member of various European networks.
